They want candidates with experience of at least a year in some type of childcare. You must be healthy enough to keep up with a long active day! Students are great temporary or part time nannies because they can work with flexible schedules.

Permanent nannies earn, in addition to benefits, $525-650/week gross (average take home net is $400-500) for live-in and $625-800/week gross (average take home net is $500-700) for live-out. Temporary and part time nannies earn $13-15/hour. Salary depends on background and experience.
