Laurie relocated from Tanzania in 1998 where she ran her own clinic as a midwife/baby nurse. She immediately began doing live in nanny work, and stayed with the family for several years before focusing on her newborn care specialist work (she still works for this family on an as needed basis). She has since worked for many families through TPNN and her own referrals. She has experience with multiples and children with special needs. Betty's been a Newborn Care Specialist for the past 30 years and enjoys it to the fullest! She's worked with many different situations such as NICU newborns, micropremies, bradies, triplets and colicky babies and many more. She's worked for high profile families and gets 90% of her jobs from word of mouth referrals. Betty got into this business because her son was born with a mild form of autism. When she was a young mom at home she thought how great it would have been to have someone to help her when she brought her son home and decided that is exactly what she wanted to do for other moms. She began immediately taking classes and has enjoyed her chosen profession ever since!

Lynn fell in love with nannying while putting herself through college by providing live out childcare. Rather than follow her anticipated path of teaching history, she pursued a career as a professional nanny and has been doing so for the past 20 years! Originally from the West Coast, she has worked with various families along the East Coast, including TPNN clients. She has a BA in History and is also highly credentialed in the nanny field, having completed that INA Nanny Credential Exam and Doula Training. In addition, she is CPR and First Aid certified, conversant in French and understands Spanish. Her references love that she shares her interests and knowledge with their children. Most of all they appreciate her expertise as a caregiver, knowing that their children are always in the best of hands!

Bernie has been a newborn specialist for over 30 years. Some of her newborn specialist positions which typically last a few weeks have become full time positions, exceeding 2 years!
