-L.D., Nanny

I have been a childcare provider for ten years and am seeking a position with a family looking for a long-term commitment.

I am well-versed in the different phases of childhood development and have experience with children of all ages, including toddler twins. Families I've worked with tell me they love the way I care for their babies in gentle, nurturing manner, while at the same time engage their older children in arts & crafts, reading, bike rides, play dates - you name it! I think it is this versatility that would make me a great fit for a family who foresees needing my expertise for years to come as their family grows.

I have a lot of energy and channel it into ways that best meet the needs of the children I care for. For instance, I'm not a "TV-watching Nanny"! I believe in devoting 100% of my time to my duties as a caregiver. I do everything from light housekeeping to helping with pets. By the way, I am told that I am an excellent cook! My reliability and dependability is an asset to any family, and I have many references willing to attest to these traits.

I am also told that I have a warm personality - this enables me to develop rapport with children and parents easily and quickly. When I bond with a family, the bond tends to last, as I continue to baby-sit for many of the families I've worked for in the past on an as needed basis long after the job ends. I take my job as a caregiver very seriously and have a passion for childcare. I hope to share this with you and your family soon. To learn more about me, please contact the agency that represents me at (610) 645-6550.

Renee has been babysitting since high school - she's now 25. She started out babysitting for family members and neighbors-she has a huge family! When she went to college out of state she started working for one family and soon got recommended to others. Her references have trusted her with multiples and special needs children. They all note her enthusiasm, energy and loving attitude toward their children. She is lots of fun, they all say! Though she is now working full time in sales, her schedule is flexible, so she is able to pick up temporary babysitting through TPNN - she is already becoming a much-requested nanny here. She is happy to continue caring for children in her spare time because she finds it very rewarding.

Beth started her career in childcare as a daycare teacher after a career in accounting and then transitioned into being a full time nanny. She has experience with newborns through preteens. She is known for being reliable, dependable and extremely attentive to the children she cares for. She forms lasting relationships with her families and often babysits for them after the job has ended - many of these families met her originally through her first job at the daycare. She is a very interesting person - hobbies include caring for her dogs, horseback riding and knitting.

Anna and Sam have jobs together and on their own and are looking to do full time couples work. They came from Poland and together have built a successful housekeeping business but are ready for the stability of having one family to work with as opposed to various clients. They take pride in their strong work ethic and honesty, qualities their references note. Anna is able to perform almost any duty you can think of--from basic house cleaning, laundry and cooking to coordinating the repairmen/delivery services. She has even done childcare duties for her past employers while managing their household. Sam has not only been able to help with household management services and do landscaping, yard activities and driving.

Nance has been caregiver since the late 70s and is always on top of the latest developments in childcare theories and practices. She is an active member of the International Nanny Association and is always in contact with other nannies in the field as well. She has cared for children of all ages, but is particularly good with infants, even infant multiples! She is an expert at household management as well. Nance's references consistently "love" her - one said she was the glue that held their family together! Another family nominated her for a "Nanny of the Year" contest. She is currently finishing a temp position she took after her last job ended (family's needs changed) and is ready for her next full time position.

Lia is about to graduate from West Chester University with a degree in education. She has been an afternoon nanny with one of our TPNN families for 2 years and they will not be needing her for the summer. She is ready to take care of children, any age, this summer! This nanny is fun, smart and full of energy! Kids gravitate to her, say her references, and its no wonder because she loves to do arts & crafts, play outside, play board games just to name a few of things in her bag of tricks. She also is a trained balloon artist! Her references can tell she has a background in education because of the way she is in tune with the children from a cognitive standpoint and her understanding of their developmental stages. Give us a call before she gets scooped up for the summer!

Thelma just finished working for a TPNN client and has an opening for a new family needing her housekeeping expertise! Over the years she has had many satisfied customers who say she can do anything and do a great job. Thelma has experience with general cleaning as well as fine antiques and collectibles. Her regular clients say they love the way she gets into home, establishes a routine and keeps the house organized and thoroughly clean from session to session. Call us to get on her list of satisfied clients!

Steph just moved to the area from MA so she could be closer to friends and family now that college has ended. Though she is looking for her first full time position as a nanny, she is far from inexperienced. She has worked afterschool hours in a daycare for two years while in high school. After graduating high school she worked as a part time afterschool nanny for a private family, and worked full time for them during the summer. She worked full time while taking college courses at a daycare center. One of her greatest qualities as a caregiver is her creativity - no matter what activity she is doing with children, indoors or outdoors, she finds an educational component while having fun. She can't wait to work with her first full time family.

Meryle is a part time housekeeper and wants to supplement her current position with afternoon housekeeping clients. Praises showered upon her include her initiative, hard work, concern about doing a good job and her particularly skill at dealing with major slobs! She is experienced at dealing with fine finishes and antiques. An avid animal lover, she is happy to help with pets as well. Another interesting tidbit about Meryle is that she is also a professional artist - she loves to paint and has a CFA from the PA Academy of Fine Arts. Let her make your home aesthetically pleasing!

Lucy is currently looking for a full time job in the Political Science field (she does freelance writing and marketing but seeks something more consistent). Fortunately, she is fantastic with children and while seeking a position in her own field has graced TPNN families with her childcare talents! Our families request her over and over. She's cared for children of all ages and families rave about her intelligence, calm manner, and the way she is able to relate to children on their level. She is a great role model and friend to her charges, say her references, and is always in tune to their needs. She not only comes up with fun and educational activities but also drives the children where needed, does light housekeeping - even walks the dog!

When D.S. isn't caring for children, she's running her own business as an animal trainer. That includes horses, birds, cats, and dogs! She is hoping to find a steady job as a part time nanny so she can continue caring for children on a regular basis while working with animals during the other portion of her schedule. Since she is the business owner she can work around any family's schedule. Her references comment on how calm, empathetic and playful she is with her charges.

Aggie is originally from Poland and upon arriving in the US, began working immediately as a nanny/housekeeper. She worked with children aged newborn through school age. As the children grew older and her duties changed, she often started doing more housekeeping for the families she worked with. She eventually decided to focus on developing her housekeeping clientele. She can do general cleaning, vacuuming, laundry (wash and fold), ironing, make beds as well as polish silver, clean hardwood floors, dust antiques. She even does pet care (especially loves dogs! Aggie's references could not say enough about her dependability and reliability. She is also an excellent cook, and her references comment that she is great whether she's following a recipe or sharing her own special dish with you!
