Elisha is a new graduate with a Psychology degree. The studying doesn't stop because she was just accepted into a special 1-year program to gain special training to work with autistic children. Her plan is to eventually get her masters in Occupational Therapy. She has extensive babysitting experience with children of all ages, including multiples. She also has a variety of volunteer experience with reading programs, visiting and engaging patients at a local hospital, fundraising and outreach to aide domestic abuse victims, and helping rebuild in New Orleans Summer 2009. She was also very active in her college's drama department. And if this nanny has not been active enough, she also studied abroad in Jerusalem! This nanny's efforts to care for others and learn are endless and would be a great role model.

Renee has been babysitting since high school - she's now 25. She started out babysitting for family members and neighbors-she has a huge family! When she went to college out of state she started working for one family and soon got recommended to others. Her references have trusted her with multiples and special needs children. They all note her enthusiasm, energy and loving attitude toward their children. She is lots of fun, they all say! Though she is now working full time in sales, her schedule is flexible, so she is able to pick up temporary babysitting through TPNN - she is already becoming a much-requested nanny here. She is happy to continue caring for children in her spare time because she finds it very rewarding.

Eleanor is a highly recommended and experienced nanny (over 20 years). Her current employer's children are getting older, so her schedule has been reduced to part time. She wishes to stay with her current employer and add a new family to her schedule. Eleanor is very experienced with newborn care, and often stays as the children grow! Her references say she is excellent with babies and bonds with them immediately. She even made homemade baby food for her last family! As the children get older, she is a pro at coordinating everyone's schedules and keeping everyone active. They say she has a great personality, stays calm yet is outgoing and friendly. She has some experience with special needs children as well.

Marcy is a mentor and tutor for children elementary through high school. She has served this past year as a City Year Corps member. She has provided academic support in and out of the classroom, tutoring through organizations and a private family. In a classroom setting, she has taught poetry and creative writing. In addition to English, Spanish and Math, Marcy can also help with study skills and even Dance & Drama. She is experienced with autistic students.

Vicky seeks part time work doing childcare while she begins taking courses towards her Masters in Psychology. She is going to be taking prerequisites online so it should not interfere with a family's schedule. She especially wants to work with special needs children someday and already has experience doing so through babysitting as well as an internship with an autism school. Her references note that she is not only articulate and intelligent, but is fun-loving and energetic! A few other tidbits - she studied abroad in Italy and studied language for a summer in Mexico. Ask her about her trip to Africa and her experience immersing herself in the local culture!

Laurie relocated from Tanzania in 1998 where she ran her own clinic as a midwife/baby nurse. She immediately began doing live in nanny work, and stayed with the family for several years before focusing on her newborn care specialist work (she still works for this family on an as needed basis). She has since worked for many families through TPNN and her own referrals. She has experience with multiples and children with special needs. Her references agree that working with babies is her calling! She is gentle and nurturing, yet confident and strong. Her exceptional expertise is an asset to the children she works with as well as the families that rely on her as a resource. All are astounded by her work ethic! She is currently accepting new referrals, so call right away to get on her calendar!

Stella's current family's needs are changing and her job is coming to an end in the next month. She is looking to share her extensive childcare experience with another loving family! She has experience with children of all ages - even teens, multiples and special needs children. One of her families had 5 children altogether, another had 4 children. She is quite adept at juggling a lot! She is hands on, organized, reliable, and good natured. Her families love how she uses her imagination when engaging the children and encourages them to do the same.

Marie B. is looking to work part time around her school schedule. She's currently working on her Masters in Social Work at Penn and has a very interesting background in childcare. Not only does she have extensive babysitting experience, she was also a child abuse investigator, advocating for children in very serious situations - was on call in case of emergencies. Marie also worked with a mentoring organization, facilitating relationships between volunteers and youth, as well as an educational group especially for the mentees to explore their relationship with their mentor. She taught a course about positive parenting (e.g., alternatives to physical discipline, coping skills and many other topics) to adults seeking to become Foster Parents. Nanny is passionate and knowledgeable about children and family dynamics overall, and her references rave about her abilities. She's available everyday except for Thursday and Friday mornings.

Not only does this T.W. have excellent childcare experience having worked in both in home settings and schools, but also has a chef's certificate from the Restaurant School (completed her cooking internship at the Moshulu Restaurant). Her references appreciate all of her talents, particularly her dedication to the families she works for. One family headed by a single parent said that T.W. really held the household together and would do anything for the family-she even painted their bedrooms! T.W. is also not one to shy away from challenges, whether it is a child who needs extra attention because of difficult personal situation or one who has special needs. T.W. hopes to finish her degree in Early Childhood Education and continue to work with children as her chosen career.

Debbie just graduated with a degree in Special Education and is seeking a full time nanny position. She has been babysitting since she was 13 years old for many families and has experience with toddlers through teens. In particular, Debbie is highly dedicated and skilled in caring for special needs children. She has been working on a part time basis for the past five years with an autistic teen. She is a volunteer with the Special Olympics as well as a local baseball league for disabled children, and even ran a swim program for kids with special needs. She is a certified lifeguard and swim instructor and helped organize "Swim for Autism." She is excited to work full time for a family but is available for temps in the mean time.
