Leah just graduated with her degree in International Relations. As she searches for a position in her field she is free to babysit. She has extensive babysitting experience from high school and her summers in college. She is praised for being responsible, dependable and conscientious. She is also a very capable tutor. Her experience is with children ages 2 and up. She loves hiking, reading and playing tennis. She's also a great swimmer! Give us a call to book her out for your babysitting needs.

Shana has been teaching children (ages preK through 8th grade) for the past seven years and would love the opportunity to work with children on a more one on one basis. She is incredibly creative and talented -she graduated from the Art Institute with a degree in Film/Video, is a singer/songwriter, paints and makes jewelry. She is not limited to these subjects, and in fact, tutors in all subjects through after school programs. Shana is also a great cook, especially loves to cook healthy meals and to top it off, does organizing projects for a few families on her own. Shana can definitely do it all!

Louise is pursuing her degree in Political Science and has hopes to go on to grad school! Before that she plans on getting involved in the Americorp program. She is especially interested in childhood obesity prevention. Louise has a family she has been babysitting for the past 3 years - when she started their children were 6 months and 3 years old. In addition, she was an instructor for a safety program in her community, teaching children ages 3 through 8 years of age on how to be prepared during emergencies. She also raised money to build new playground in her community. On the other end of the age spectrum, she tutors high school students in Math, English and Science. Louise would love to acquire a regular part time job with one of our families or even become a regular babysitter for some of our clients while she is in school.

Beth will be ending her afterschool care job with a TPNN family and is ready for an aftercamp position this summer or afterschool job for next year. She's even up for temporary babysitting if a family needs it. She is experienced with children 2 years and up and is known for being conscientious, dependable and very intelligent. She is currently working on her combined BA/MA and someday hopes to be a professor. After college, she plans to do a 1-year service project working with inner city youth.

Marcy is a mentor and tutor for children elementary through high school. She has served this past year as a City Year Corps member. She has provided academic support in and out of the classroom, tutoring through organizations and a private family. In a classroom setting, she has taught poetry and creative writing. In addition to English, Spanish and Math, Marcy can also help with study skills and even Dance & Drama. She is experienced with autistic students.

Gayle is currently working at a preschool and would love the opportunity to work with 1 to 3 children at a time as opposed to larger groups so she can give more individualized attention. An afternoon schedule would work well around her class schedule (she is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences). She has a fun personality and extensive babysitting experience with children ages toddler and up. She lives on the Main Line so is close by for a school or camp pick up in the afternoon.

Vicky seeks part time work doing childcare while she begins taking courses towards her Masters in Psychology. She is going to be taking prerequisites online so it should not interfere with a family's schedule. She especially wants to work with special needs children someday and already has experience doing so through babysitting as well as an internship with an autism school. Her references note that she is not only articulate and intelligent, but is fun-loving and energetic! A few other tidbits - she studied abroad in Italy and studied language for a summer in Mexico. Ask her about her trip to Africa and her experience immersing herself in the local culture!

Lia is about to graduate from West Chester University with a degree in education. She has been an afternoon nanny with one of our TPNN families for 2 years and they will not be needing her for the summer. She is ready to take care of children, any age, this summer! This nanny is fun, smart and full of energy! Kids gravitate to her, say her references, and its no wonder because she loves to do arts & crafts, play outside, play board games just to name a few of things in her bag of tricks. She also is a trained balloon artist! Her references can tell she has a background in education because of the way she is in tune with the children from a cognitive standpoint and her understanding of their developmental stages. Give us a call before she gets scooped up for the summer!

Kate's love for working with children began when she worked in her mother's daycare center in her youth and early adulthood. Eventually Kate took her creative passion to the next level - she has done freelance graphic design, videography and now runs her own small art gallery. On the side she has fostered her love of music by learning many instruments: piano, woodwind and brass instruments as well as African drums. During her entire career she has never stopped working with children - she has given art and music lessons, mentored students with study skills and even gave her time to some children in a 'buddy' capacity (playing games, etc., and this nanny plays a mean game of Scrabble!). Kate would love to completely immerse herself in childcare again, preferably full time, or she could continue to operate her small art gallery in conjunction with a part time nanny job. Look for Kate to bring her goody bag of art supplies and musical instruments for her charges to explore. Can't wait to meet her? Give us a call!

Charlene is pursuing her Master of Arts in Education and is currently doing temporary babysitting positions for TPNN clients. She is open to working on a consistent part time basis with a family or continue to do as needed babysitting. She has a ton of childcare experience both in the home and in the classroom. Her references say that she's cool, calm and collected! They love the way she focuses on creating a stimulating learning environment taking the child's interests into account.

Christy is working on her degree in Early Childhood Education at Arcadia. She is looking for temporary and part time positions while continuing to take classes. Toddlers and preschoolers are her specialty! She is an experienced daycare teacher and babysitter. Her references describe her as patient, friendly and nurturing as well as very responsible. She looks forward to being a school teacher someday but in the mean time enjoys babysitting for TPNN families.

Not only does this T.W. have excellent childcare experience having worked in both in home settings and schools, but also has a chef's certificate from the Restaurant School (completed her cooking internship at the Moshulu Restaurant). Her references appreciate all of her talents, particularly her dedication to the families she works for. One family headed by a single parent said that T.W. really held the household together and would do anything for the family-she even painted their bedrooms! T.W. is also not one to shy away from challenges, whether it is a child who needs extra attention because of difficult personal situation or one who has special needs. T.W. hopes to finish her degree in Early Childhood Education and continue to work with children as her chosen career.
