Elisha is a new graduate with a Psychology degree. The studying doesn't stop because she was just accepted into a special 1-year program to gain special training to work with autistic children. Her plan is to eventually get her masters in Occupational Therapy. She has extensive babysitting experience with children of all ages, including multiples. She also has a variety of volunteer experience with reading programs, visiting and engaging patients at a local hospital, fundraising and outreach to aide domestic abuse victims, and helping rebuild in New Orleans Summer 2009. She was also very active in her college's drama department. And if this nanny has not been active enough, she also studied abroad in Jerusalem! This nanny's efforts to care for others and learn are endless and would be a great role model.

Gale is interested in working as a full time housekeeper or nanny - she's done both and comes highly recommended. Whatever she does, she just wants to keep working with families! She's originally from Trinidad and has been in the US for 10 years. She's worked with children of all ages. Her references say she is really a "go with the flow" type of person - doesn't get flustered if the routine has to change or she has to think on her feet. They also say she is incredibly intelligent and it shows in her approach, how she organizes the family and interacts with the children. The children love how much fun Gale is, taking them to the park to play or just playing games or cooking - everybody is happy when Gale is around! She keeps everybody's lives running smoothly. It also doesn't hurt that she's an amazing cook!

Regina has been a housekeeper for nearly 10 years. In the past she has been a nanny and an antique dealer! She has worked for many TPNN families and is highly recommended. Regina does it all, does it fast and does it well! Her references say she is not only a great housekeeper but is also personable and easy to work with. She has a few slots in her schedule that just opened up - call and meet her before her schedule fills up again!

Debra's current position is ending because the children are all going to school. She has been a professional nanny for the past 5 years with children ages 1 year and up. Her families love the values they teach their children while always having fun! She is said to be patient and accommodating. Originally from Morocco, Debra came to the US in 2003. She is CPR-certified, an excellent swimmer, a great driving record and fluent in French.

Lena just finished a 2-year position that started when the children were a newborn and preschooler. Now youngest child is going to preschool as well and Lena is looking for a new position, and hopes to work 20-35 hours per week. She is originally from Poland where she earned a degrees in Philosophy and Library Science. She came to the US in 2006 as an au pair to improve her English and worked with a newborn. She decided to stay and her references are glad she did! They say she is smart, attentive and responsible.

Shana has been teaching children (ages preK through 8th grade) for the past seven years and would love the opportunity to work with children on a more one on one basis. She is incredibly creative and talented -she graduated from the Art Institute with a degree in Film/Video, is a singer/songwriter, paints and makes jewelry. She is not limited to these subjects, and in fact, tutors in all subjects through after school programs. Shana is also a great cook, especially loves to cook healthy meals and to top it off, does organizing projects for a few families on her own. Shana can definitely do it all!

Erica is originally from Columbia and came to the US in 2006 as an au pair. In her country of origin she worked in a preschool before establishing her career in Marketing. Her ultimate goal is to return to school but while attending classes on weekends, she has worked as a nanny for two different families since she came to the US. Aside from caring for the children she is no stranger to helping out with errands, cooking, laundry and even pet care. The children from her most recent family have grown older so they no longer need a full time nanny. She would love to find another family to work for on a full time basis.

Melah has already become a highly requested temp nanny for the agency, but is ultimately looking for a full time position. She recently moved back to the Philadelphia area. She has experience with children ages newborn and up. Her references speak of her trustworthiness, reliability and her ability to form meaningful connection with her employers and their children. She has "such a good heart," says one of her references. Her hobbies include reading, sports, swimming and spending time with family and friends. She is looking forward to finding a permanent full time position!

Louise is pursuing her degree in Political Science and has hopes to go on to grad school! Before that she plans on getting involved in the Americorp program. She is especially interested in childhood obesity prevention. Louise has a family she has been babysitting for the past 3 years - when she started their children were 6 months and 3 years old. In addition, she was an instructor for a safety program in her community, teaching children ages 3 through 8 years of age on how to be prepared during emergencies. She also raised money to build new playground in her community. On the other end of the age spectrum, she tutors high school students in Math, English and Science. Louise would love to acquire a regular part time job with one of our families or even become a regular babysitter for some of our clients while she is in school.

Elena came to the US from Poland on a visit with friends, but met her spouse and decided to stay. She immediately began picking up babysitting jobs word of mouth. It wasn't long before families asked her to work as their nanny on a consistent basis. She currently has a family she is working for on a part time basis and would love to fill in her schedule with another part time family or temporary babysitting. All of her references love her sweet, smiling demeanor and they couldn't wait to call us at TPNN to give a reference for her! Everyone also makes note of her intelligence - she has a BS/Masters in Business she obtained in Poland (she worked in Marketing before coming to the US).

Nadia came to the agency with extensive babysitting and daycare experience. She has since worked part time (30 hours) for a TPNN family, who absolutely loved her and highly recommend her. She has also held longer term temporary positions with full time hours. She would love to acquire a full time position with a family and has experience with children ages infant and up. She would also be open to working for two families with part time schedules that complement one another. Nadia has her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and has significant coursework completed toward a Bachelors. Her references comment on her natural ability to relate to children, how calm yet outgoing and fun she is, as well as her reliability.

Renee has been babysitting since high school - she's now 25. She started out babysitting for family members and neighbors-she has a huge family! When she went to college out of state she started working for one family and soon got recommended to others. Her references have trusted her with multiples and special needs children. They all note her enthusiasm, energy and loving attitude toward their children. She is lots of fun, they all say! Though she is now working full time in sales, her schedule is flexible, so she is able to pick up temporary babysitting through TPNN - she is already becoming a much-requested nanny here. She is happy to continue caring for children in her spare time because she finds it very rewarding.

Liza has a part time evening job in Communications (she just graduated from Temple, and is beginning her career). She would love to continue working with children during the day. She has been doing childcare throughout high school and college. She comes highly recommended and still babysits for many of the families she's been working with for many years. She has already babysat for several TPNN families who are beginning to request her again! Her references say she is conscientious and calm, very caring and loving. She has experience caring for newborns through school age. In her free time she loves reading a good book in Rittenhouse Square, working out, biking or writing.

Beth started her career in childcare as a daycare teacher after a career in accounting and then transitioned into being a full time nanny. She has experience with newborns through preteens. She is known for being reliable, dependable and extremely attentive to the children she cares for. She forms lasting relationships with her families and often babysits for them after the job has ended - many of these families met her originally through her first job at the daycare. She is a very interesting person - hobbies include caring for her dogs, horseback riding and knitting.

Eleanor is a highly recommended and experienced nanny (over 20 years). Her current employer's children are getting older, so her schedule has been reduced to part time. She wishes to stay with her current employer and add a new family to her schedule. Eleanor is very experienced with newborn care, and often stays as the children grow! Her references say she is excellent with babies and bonds with them immediately. She even made homemade baby food for her last family! As the children get older, she is a pro at coordinating everyone's schedules and keeping everyone active. They say she has a great personality, stays calm yet is outgoing and friendly. She has some experience with special needs children as well.

Marcy is a mentor and tutor for children elementary through high school. She has served this past year as a City Year Corps member. She has provided academic support in and out of the classroom, tutoring through organizations and a private family. In a classroom setting, she has taught poetry and creative writing. In addition to English, Spanish and Math, Marcy can also help with study skills and even Dance & Drama. She is experienced with autistic students.

Marina is a very experienced nanny,having held both full time and part time positions with children of all ages. She is currently a much requested temp nanny for TPNN while she is seeking more stable part time work. Not only do children love her and say she's lots of fun, but she also started her own housekeeping business and has clients she cleans for weekly and bi-weekly. Her references say she's amazing - detail-oriented and thorough...nothing gets by her! She has a degree is Computer Programming from her native country and runs a very organized business! She's found success at programming in the past but loves working with families so chooses to focus on her passion.

Gayle is currently working at a preschool and would love the opportunity to work with 1 to 3 children at a time as opposed to larger groups so she can give more individualized attention. An afternoon schedule would work well around her class schedule (she is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences). She has a fun personality and extensive babysitting experience with children ages toddler and up. She lives on the Main Line so is close by for a school or camp pick up in the afternoon.

Gina has been working in a different field since graduating from college in 2003, but has been caring for children whenever she can for almost 10 years. She has many families she regularly babysits for and has experience with infants through preteens, she can even handle 2-year-old triplets! She is ready to make the transition to full time childcare and comes highly recommended from the families she works with (one of which is a TPNN family). She is friendly, mature and outgoing. Gina also take a lot of initiative, going above and beyond what parents ask. The kids love her involvement - she can play games, do arts and crafts, read just to name a few indoor activities. This nanny lives in Philadelphia and wants to find a family in Delaware County, PA or the Main Line, Bryn Mawr, Malvern, Haverford, Gladwyne. She has worked for families on the Main Line. Her two jobs, one for 5 years and one for 13 years, ended because the kids were too old to need a nanny. In both cases she started when the oldest was very young and then more babies were born. She described as kind, incredibly patient, "ran family like a well oiled machine", never took a sick day, ran errands for the family, and went above and beyond. "She was a godsend". She is fully competent and experienced handling newborns on up. She loves to decorate and do faux finishing. Her own kids are grown. She is available to start in August.
