All Jenny's references let us know she is definitely a nanny for all the right reasons - she lives to love and teach the children in her care! She likes to interact with her charges - taking them on trips to the zoo, museums and the aquarium. At home, she plays with them, does arts and crafts. Her personality is "delightful" and "bubbly" according to those who know her and one family said "she never gets her feathers ruffled"! Jenny's full time nanny job just ended and she is looking for her next employers. Call us today to get the Jenny experience!

Kate's love for working with children began when she worked in her mother's daycare center in her youth and early adulthood. Eventually Kate took her creative passion to the next level - she has done freelance graphic design, videography and now runs her own small art gallery. On the side she has fostered her love of music by learning many instruments: piano, woodwind and brass instruments as well as African drums. During her entire career she has never stopped working with children - she has given art and music lessons, mentored students with study skills and even gave her time to some children in a 'buddy' capacity (playing games, etc., and this nanny plays a mean game of Scrabble!). Kate would love to completely immerse herself in childcare again, preferably full time, or she could continue to operate her small art gallery in conjunction with a part time nanny job. Look for Kate to bring her goody bag of art supplies and musical instruments for her charges to explore. Can't wait to meet her? Give us a call!

Dave is a graduate of the Restaurant School and enjoys his chosen profession as a chef. He has his own private clients that he prepares meals for (in his kitchen or in theirs) and often prepares make ahead meals that the family can enjoy for the week. He is able to cook for parties and other special events. In addition, he consults a major corporation's test kitchen. Dave can cook a variety of styles, always clean and fresh, including Asian Fusion, South Beach style, Mexican, Indian, Middle Eastern and traditional kosher foods. In fact, Dave grew up in a kosher home and keeps kosher himself, so accommodating his kosher clients is a breeze.

Laurie relocated from Tanzania in 1998 where she ran her own clinic as a midwife/baby nurse. She has since worked for many families through TPNN and her own referrals. She has experience with multiples and children with special needs. Her references agree that working with babies is her calling! She is gentle and nurturing, yet confident and strong. Her exceptional expertise is an asset to the children she works with as well as the families that rely on her as a resource. All are astounded by her work ethic! She is currently accepting new referrals, so call right away to get on her calendar!

Sky became a nanny in the late 80's and worked for her first family for 13 years. One of the things Sky's references love about her is that she raised 4 children of her own (grown) so they feel there is nothing she can't handle. One of her references with 5 kids herself said "there was nothing that overwhelmed or upset her and there was nothing the kids could throw at her that she hasn't seen before." Aside from her experience, Sky is known for her energetic, fun personality. Sky is a career nanny and sees doing this for the next 10+ years. Her last employer was laid off so Sky is able to start a position ASAP.

She is loved by her employers not only because of her skill as a childcare provider but because of her kind nature and the initiative she takes. Nicole is certainly one to go the extra mile whether it be housekeeping or researching age-appropriate activities to do with the children and creating a calendar! Nicole is known for her flexibility, which has helped several of her family's when they've been running late or just needed an extra evening or weekend day here or there. One parent said their favorite thing about Nicole is how much their children love her - her daughter always ran to the window when Nicole left for the day, blowing her kisses!

Steph just moved to the area from MA so she could be closer to friends and family now that college has ended. Though she is looking for her first full time position as a nanny, she is far from inexperienced. She has worked afterschool hours in a daycare for two years while in high school. After graduating high school she worked as a part time afterschool nanny for a private family, and worked full time for them during the summer. She worked full time while taking college courses at a daycare center. One of her greatest qualities as a caregiver is her creativity - no matter what activity she is doing with children, indoors or outdoors, she finds an educational component while having fun. She can't wait to work with her first full time family.

She's worked for high profile families and gets 90% of her jobs from word of mouth referrals. Betty got into this business because her son was born with a mild form of autism. She began immediately taking classes and has enjoyed her chosen profession ever since!

I have been a childcare provider for ten years and am seeking a position with a family looking for a long-term commitment.

I am well-versed in the different phases of childhood development and have experience with children of all ages, including toddler twins. Families I've worked with tell me they love the way I care for their babies in gentle, nurturing manner, while at the same time engage their older children in arts & crafts, reading, bike rides, play dates - you name it! I think it is this versatility that would make me a great fit for a family who foresees needing my expertise for years to come as their family grows.

I have a lot of energy and channel it into ways that best meet the needs of the children I care for. For instance, I'm not a "TV-watching Nanny"! I believe in devoting 100% of my time to my duties as a caregiver. I do everything from light housekeeping to helping with pets. By the way, I am told that I am an excellent cook! My reliability and dependability is an asset to any family, and I have many references willing to attest to these traits.

I am also told that I have a warm personality - this enables me to develop rapport with children and parents easily and quickly. When I bond with a family, the bond tends to last, as I continue to baby-sit for many of the families I've worked for in the past on an as needed basis long after the job ends. I take my job as a caregiver very seriously and have a passion for childcare. I hope to share this with you and your family soon. To learn more about me, please contact the agency that represents me at (610) 645-6550.

My current position is ending soon (my employer will now be staying at home with her children) so I am looking forward to starting the New Year with a new family. I am currently seeking a full time live in position.

I've had both live in and live out positions, both full time and part time. I once ran my own in home daycare. My approach to childcare is centered on turning everyday play into a learning experience. For example, why just play with a train set; why not use our imagination to build one of our own? I also believe in stimulating a child's intellect through reading and it would not be unusual to find my charges sprawled out on a blanket under the sun, immersed in a great story I am reading with them.

I am energetic and active, so being interactive and involved with the children I care for is very important to me. Though focus on the children is my #1 priority, I am great at multitasking. I am no stranger to light housekeeping and laundry as long as it does not diminish my role as a caregiver. I have helped all of my families with these tasks, and my references say they appreciate that I often take the initiative to do them (even when not asked) to keep the household running smoothly. And, I am comfortable driving the kids, just furnish a car or reimburse me for gas and wear and tear on my car.

In terms of age groups, I have worked with children of all ages, newborn through teens, all genders - even multiples. No matter what the age all of my references agree that their children know that they are loved and cherished by me.

Karen worked as a chef for 11 years in her native Jamaica before moving to the US ten years ago. In the US she began her childcare career and her references say she is a natural! She has experience with children newborn and up (including twin experience).

Stella's current family's needs are changing and her job is coming to an end in the next month. She is looking to share her extensive childcare experience with another loving family! She has experience with children of all ages - even teens, multiples and special needs children. One of her families had 5 children altogether, another had 4 children. She is quite adept at juggling a lot! She is hands on, organized, reliable, and good natured. Her families love how she uses her imagination when engaging the children and encourages them to do the same.

She looks forward to being a school teacher someday but in the mean time enjoys babysitting for TPNN families.

She's cared for children of all ages and families rave about her intelligence, calm manner, and the way she is able to relate to children on their level. She is a great role model and friend to her charges, say her references, and is always in tune to their needs. She not only comes up with fun and educational activities but also drives the children where needed, does light housekeeping - even walks the dog!

Gillian first came to TPNN in 2006 and has worked with several of our families. Her last employers no longer need a full time nanny (the kids are in school), so Gillian is ready to help her next family. She has experience with all age groups and her references universally agree that this nanny is fun! She keeps everyone active and engaged in educational and enjoyable activities whether it be a game inside, or a trip to the zoo or orchard. Somehow she manages to keep the family organized at the same time, helping with laundry or meal prep, even helping out with the family pet. Gillian is there to keep the household happy and running efficiently. In the mean time, she is available for temporary work and is requested frequently!

Cecilia came to the US from Haiti in the early 1980s where she ran her own bakery business. She worked as a nursing assistant to support herself and her 3 children. As the years passed by she began once again gravitating towards a means of running her own business, picking up housekeeping clients. Now that the children are all grown she is now ready to focus exclusively on building her own housekeeping clientele. Cecilia's clients depend on her to do complete cleaning, including rugs, hardwood floors, oriental rugs, caring for antiques and artwork. She is happy to run errands or do grocery shopping. She doesn't mind using her bakery expertise either if a family needs pastries, cakes or pies, especially for special occasions! Cecilia is looking to add clients who need help 1 or more days per week (or every other week).

Marie also worked with a mentoring organization, facilitating relationships between volunteers and youth, as well as an educational group especially for the mentees to explore their relationship with their mentor. She taught a course about positive parenting (e.g., alternatives to physical discipline, coping skills and many other topics) to adults seeking to become Foster Parents. Nanny is passionate and knowledgeable about children and family dynamics overall, and her references rave about her abilities. She's available everyday except for Thursday and Friday mornings.

Not only does this T.W. have excellent childcare experience having worked in both in home settings and schools, but also has a chef's certificate from the Restaurant School (completed her cooking internship at the Moshulu Restaurant). Her references appreciate all of her talents, particularly her dedication to the families she works for. One family headed by a single parent said that T.W. really held the household together and would do anything for the family-she even painted their bedrooms! T.W. is also not one to shy away from challenges, whether it is a child who needs extra attention because of difficult personal situation or one who has special needs. T.W. hopes to finish her degree in Early Childhood Education and continue to work with children as her chosen career.
