Kate's love for working with children began when she worked in her mother's daycare center in her youth and early adulthood. Eventually Kate took her creative passion to the next level - she has done freelance graphic design, videography and now runs her own small art gallery. On the side she has fostered her love of music by learning many instruments: piano, woodwind and brass instruments as well as African drums. During her entire career she has never stopped working with children - she has given art and music lessons, mentored students with study skills and even gave her time to some children in a 'buddy' capacity (playing games, etc., and this nanny plays a mean game of Scrabble!). Kate would love to completely immerse herself in childcare again, preferably full time, or she could continue to operate her small art gallery in conjunction with a part time nanny job. Look for Kate to bring her goody bag of art supplies and musical instruments for her charges to explore. Can't wait to meet her? Give us a call!

Alexis is originally from TN, but has traveled far and wide during her career as a nanny. Currently she is with a family in GA, but is ready to move to Philadelphia to be near friends and relatives in this area. She started her career 10 years ago and her references loved the way she kept all the moving parts of their household in order and running smoothly! Most important her charges loved her - ranging in ages from newborn through 14 years! This is definitely a nanny who can grow and adjust with her family.

I have been a childcare provider for ten years and am seeking a position with a family looking for a long-term commitment.

I am well-versed in the different phases of childhood development and have experience with children of all ages, including toddler twins. Families I've worked with tell me they love the way I care for their babies in gentle, nurturing manner, while at the same time engage their older children in arts & crafts, reading, bike rides, play dates - you name it! I think it is this versatility that would make me a great fit for a family who foresees needing my expertise for years to come as their family grows.

I have a lot of energy and channel it into ways that best meet the needs of the children I care for. For instance, I'm not a "TV-watching Nanny"! I believe in devoting 100% of my time to my duties as a caregiver. I do everything from light housekeeping to helping with pets. By the way, I am told that I am an excellent cook! My reliability and dependability is an asset to any family, and I have many references willing to attest to these traits.

I am also told that I have a warm personality - this enables me to develop rapport with children and parents easily and quickly. When I bond with a family, the bond tends to last, as I continue to baby-sit for many of the families I've worked for in the past on an as needed basis long after the job ends. I take my job as a caregiver very seriously and have a passion for childcare. I hope to share this with you and your family soon. To learn more about me, please contact the agency that represents me at (610) 645-6550.
